Out Professionals’ events are open to established and aspiring LGBTQ professionals as well as allies. Appearance in event photos does not imply sexual orientation.

All photographs we use on this site or social media were taken at Out Professionals events or during events where a representative(s) of the organization was participating. We use imagery from our events to promote the values and mission of Out Professionals, including networking and career-enhancing educational events that encourage the opportunity to meet other “out” professionals and allies.

The following policy is effective at in-person Out Professionals events, virtual meetings, webinars where the participant actively participates, and other public events:

Photograph & Video Release for Out Professionals Events

With your admittance, you hereby grant permission to the rights of my image, likeness, and sound of my voice as recorded on audio or video without payment or any other consideration.

You understand that your image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published, or distributed and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, you waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of your image or recording. You also understand that this material may be used in diverse educational settings within an unrestricted geographic area.

Photographic, audio, or video recordings may be used for the following purposes:

conference presentations
educational presentations or courses
informational presentations
online educational courses
educational videos
social media posts and promotions

With your admittance to an event, you understand this permission signifies that photographic or video recordings of you may be electronically displayed via the Internet or in the public educational setting.

The photographs or video recordings from this event will only be used for the purposes listed above.

There is no time limit on the validity of this release nor is there any geographic limitation on where these materials may be distributed.

This release applies to photographic, audio, or video recordings collected as part of the sessions conducted by Out Professionals.
With your admittance, you acknowledge that you have completely read and fully understand the above release and agree to be bound thereby. You hereby release any and all claims against any person or organization utilizing this material for educational purposes.

If you do not wish to be photographed or included in video taken at events, please tell the photographer and videographer or organizer at the event. You may also email us.
