On Trump’s 100th Day in Office, Consider Supporting Our Journalism

I hope you’re well. Uncloseted Media is now eight months old and Trump 2.0 has been leading the country for exactly 100 days. Last week, my former boss at 60 Minutes, Bill Owens, resigned as the show’s executive producer, citing encroachments on his journalistic independence. I could not be more proud of him… he was the best boss I’ve ever had and is setting a critical example for our industry.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration has conducted a relentless and unprecedented attack on LGBTQ rights: trans military bans; executive orders that erase the idea that—in the eyes of the federal government—trans and nonbinary people exist; policies that would punish teachers for providing LGBTQ-inclusive education; and wiped references to LGBTQ populations and HIV from federal websites.
