After an insider’s tour of this national historic landmark, you’re welcome to unwind among new friends under the vaulted ceilings of the venerable Grand Central Oyster Bar.
A majestic Beaux Arts rendition of a classical form, New York’s Grand Central Terminal rivaled the Eiffel Tower as one of the turn-of-the-century’s most dramatic architectural achievements. It symbolized the exploding intellectual and commercial reach of what was then the world’s second largest city.

Tour begins at 2 p.m. sharp, rain or shine. We meet at 89 East 42nd Street, under the Park Avenue Viaduct and just inside the entrance to Grand Central Terminal. Subway: 4/5/6/7/S to 42nd Street/Grand Central. Open-ended mixer begins about 4 p.m. in the Grand Central Oyster Bar; refreshments on your own.
