OP hosted it’s 2nd Annual Travel Summit with a focus on Europe. Hosted again my travel writer Matt Link, the panel featured Marion Fourestier of ATOUT FRANCE, Paul Gauger of VisitBritain and Harald Hansen of Innovation Norway. And, of course, we had our annual drawing for travel on OP lead sponsor, Continental Airlines. In the right-hand photo, OP President Michael Westwood (left) presents the ‘big voucher’ to winner Jay Persi while the panel members look on.
OP celebrated its first 25 years by honoring one of our leading lights, Jack Schlegel, with a festive blowout at Danal restaurant in the Village. Amid the blur of the crowd (pic 1), former OP President John Kneapler and Jack (pic 2, l-r) reminisced. NY Times’ Stuart Elliott (pic 3, left) introduced Jack with a few choice words.
Jack also caught up with Ann Northrop (pic 4, center right) and two lovely new friends. Also among the crowd for dinner were Peter Farrell and Mark Fortier (pic 5, l-r). And event chair Carl Pritzkat (pic 6, right) was enjoying the evening with his partner, Tony Travostino (pic 6, left), both of Mediapolis.
Thanks to all who attended! Women’s Night

prominent filmmakers at the new home for NewFest in the SVA theatre and
in Logo Lounge, the premier spot to connect with fellow attendees,
actors, filmmakers and industry reps. We were treated to pre- and
post-film receptions and the delightful “The Baby Formula” a
mocu-mentary about lesbian baby-making. Photos copyright 2009 Twilla
