On Wednesday evening, July 18, New York Times Advertising Columnist Stuart Elliott presides over a timely Out Professionals roundtable on trend identification and brand building in the age of digital and social media. Stuart Elliott (left) has been the advertising columnist of The New York Times since May 1991, writing the weekday advertising report as well as other news articles and features. He also authors a weekly e-mail newsletter, "In Advertising," for The New York Times on the Web.
Terry Young (second from left) is CEO and founder of sparks&honey, a new trend-tracking/brand-building firm whose inaugural client was Clinique. Using a next-generation marketing approach called Wave Branding, Terry aims to "synchronize your brand with real-time culture." His firm is an operating unit of Omnicom's Diversified Agency Services Division.
Kristine-Ellis Petrik (third from left) is a marketing and brand catalyst for Cable News Network (CNN). Kristine has developed a personal and team branding process designed to take business and ventures to expansion without diminishing the core strength of their brand.
Claude Salzberger (third from right), an expert in corporate identity, has guided the creation and implementation of branding programs for the Mexico Tourism Board, British Airways and Japan Airlines, among others. As Founder and President of MLBM he has worked with such clients as United Way, Crane & Co., FXI and Endeavor. Claude served earlier as founding partner and president of FutureBrand, where he helped redefine the role of branding for such global clients as UPS, Microsoft, GM and Telefonica.
Janet Brown (second from right), is CEO of CRM/FilmBuff, where she identifies trends in movies and entertainment. Cinetic Rights Management delivers entertainment content to digital platforms across North America and Europe. FilmBuff serves as a digital entertainment curator for film-savvy audiences. Earlier Janet strategized for Yahoo! Media Group.
Sven Seger (right) is Chief Creative Officer, FutureBrand North America, a unit of McCann Worldgroup. Educated in Hamburg, Sven served earlier as worldwide executive creative director at Siegel+Gale, brand strategists and design consultants.
