THEY CALL IT THE GAY SUPER BOWL

FIND OUT WHY WHEN MICHAEL MUSTO, MICHELE BALAN AND BRADLEY JACOBS FORECAST THE OSCARS.

The 84th Annual Edition of the Academy Awards takes place on Sunday, February 26. There's no more glamorous night in Hollywood than the Oscars. Not for nothing is it called the Gay Super Bowl.

On Wednesday, February 15, Out Professionals invites you to a no-holds-barred Academy Awards preview, loaded with laughs, dish and dirt.

Village Voice gossip giant Michael Musto hosts a roundtable of entertainment insiders, including Michele Balan and Bradley Jacobs. They've seen it all -- flubbed speeches, wardrobe malfunctions, red-carpet disasters -- and will share it all. Hear why this year's nominees are all right or all wrong.

Michael Musto (second from left) writes the popular column "La Dolce Musto" in the Village Voice as well as the outspoken blog "La Daily Musto" on VillageVoice.com. His newest release, "Fork on the Left, Knife in the Back" (Vantage Point Books) is a rollicking, hilarious and cutting view of pop culture. Michael Musto is a regular commentator on Countdown with Keith Olbermann and Theater Talk.

Michele Balan (second from right) scored as a finalist on NBC's "Last Comic Standing." She was, in fact, "The Last Woman Comic Standing." Backstage Magazine voted her a Top Ten Comic, and Mike Ward's annual Bay Area ranking of cabaret artists place Michele in Top 2010 Comedy. Balan is a major draw on luxury cruises, and her new DVD, "From Ecstasy to Vitamin C!" is huge.

Bradley Jacobs (far right), a senior editor at Us Weekly, edits all movie-related stories and reviews, weekly features, and the breaking-news-packed Hot Stuff section (one of the last departments to go to bed during the magazine's hectic Monday-night close). Bradley, who covered entertainment for Newsweek and Newsweek.com before joining Us in 2003, appears regularly on TV to discuss film and celebrity news.
