OP FINANCIAL ROUNDTABLE

Members of the Wall Street financial community helped OP kick off 2010 by discussing what might be happening next with the markets and US economy. OP Board member Mike Tracy moderated and welcomed Jeffrey Palma of UBS, Robert Weissenstein of Credit Suisse, Adam Boynton of of Deutsche Bank and Pulitzer Prize winning journalist James Stewart (above right, l to r).

2ND ANNUAL OP 'MAKE TRAVEL A TRIP' EVENT

OP hosted it's 2nd Annual Travel Summit with a focus on Europe. Hosted again my travel writer Matt Link, the panel featured Marion Fourestier of ATOUT FRANCE, Paul Gauger of VisitBritain and Harald Hansen of Innovation Norway. And, of course, we had our annual drawing for travel on OP lead sponsor, Continental Airlines. In the right-hand photo, OP President Michael Westwood (left) presents the 'big voucher' to winner Jay Persi while the panel members look on.
OP CELEBRATES 25 YEARS... AND 'LA SCHLEGEL'


OP celebrated its first 25 years by honoring one of our leading lights, Jack Schlegel, with a festive blowout at Danal restaurant in the Village. Amid the blur of the crowd (pic 1), former OP President John Kneapler and Jack (pic 2, l-r) reminisced. NY Times' Stuart Elliott (pic 3, left) introduced Jack with a few choice words.
Jack also caught up with Ann Northrop (pic 4, center right) and two lovely new friends. Also among the crowd for dinner were Peter Farrell and Mark Fortier (pic 5, l-r). And event chair Carl Pritzkat (pic 6, right) was enjoying the evening with his partner, Tony Travostino (pic 6, left), both of Mediapolis.
OP.LYNX: SHAKEN AND STIRRED @ LEO BAR (October 16, 2009)

OP.LYNX, the women's network of Out Professionals, once again invaded the Asia Society's Leo Bar in October to warm things up as the first nips of autumn hit the city. Among the crowd of women enjoying the evening, Asia Society's David Reid (above left) grabbed a photo op with former OP.LYNX chair Alina Wilczynski (above right).
BEHIND THE SCENES AT 'YANK' (October 5, 2009)

There was quite a crowd on hand at the JCC to meet the creators of the new gay World War I musical 'Yank!'. Creators David (center left) and Joe Zellnick (center right) presented some of the numbers from the show with the help of Broadway veteran Stacia Fernandez.
WOMEN'S NIGHT @ NewFest (June 7, 2009)

at NewFest was hosted by Lesli Klainberg

producer/director and acting Executive Director for NewFest, and other
prominent filmmakers at the new home for NewFest in the SVA theatre and
in Logo Lounge, the premier spot to connect with fellow attendees,
actors, filmmakers and industry reps. We were treated to pre- and
post-film receptions and the delightful "The Baby Formula" a
