BOSS WON’T LISTEN? CLIENT NEVER HAPPY? CO-WORKER WON’T COOPERATE? DIAN KILLIAN SHOWS YOU HOW TO COPE WITH THESE AND OTHER IMPOSSIBLE PEOPLE.

On Wednesday, October 28, Out Professionals presents “How to Get Great Results Out of Impossible People,” an interactive workshop with coach, trainer and consultant Dian Killian, PhD.

It can be hard to see the good in someone who comes across as uncooperative or demanding, pushy or passive-aggressive. Or who may fail to listen, to understand another’s point of view or to follow through.

Dealing with such people can be especially crucial at work, where time is at a premium and your performance depends upon support and collaboration.

This Out Professionals workshop is designed to give you the tools to transform any situation into one marked by greater insight, connection and trust.

Because, according to Killian, you can work with almost anybody when you know how to analyze what’s really going on between you.

This workshop aims to help you:

  • Get clear about your objectives and what’s really driving a situation
  • Transform judgments, demands and blame into understanding and connection
  • Make powerful requests that better satisfy your needs
  • Find the “yes” behind the “no,” opening up new avenues to win/win solutions

Dian Killian, PhD is a certified professional Life Coach specializing in communication, team work and collaboration. The co-author of two books, “Connecting Across Differences: How to Find Common Ground with Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime” and “Urban Empathy: True Life Adventures of Compassion on the Streets of NY,” she is also a certified trainer with the international Center for Nonviolent Communication. Dian appears regularly at the 92nd Street Y and the Omega Institute, and works in-house with organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies.
